The bearing ring for a rotary kiln or drying drum or similar equipment has an outer part (1) supported above an inner part (2) by a number of radial ribs (3), the inner part resting on the outside of the cylinder. These parts are connected by radial pins (6) which are permanently attached either to the cylinder or to the inner ring part. - The pins (6) can be welded to the cylinder shell (4) passing through clearance holes in the inner ring part, the latter forming a bridge (7) between two arms of the ribs. In another design, the inner ring consists of two parts, in cross section, each connected to a rib, and each with a pin through it. - In another design with two pins, one attached to each inner ring part, the pins fit into intermediate plates welded to the outside itself.
