Ski with timber coe and strong faces - having fabricated core filled with GRP pressed between stiffening materials

A ski has one-piece core of relatively weak material and top and bottom bonded layers of relatively strong material. The core has several (pref. 4-8) longitudinal grooves extending almost from the rear end to the start of the point and these grooves are filled with material which increases the strength of the core and which is bonded both to the core and the top and bottom layers. The ski is easily produced, does not warp or have the low modulus of the core material and has greater flexibility at the point.
