Automatic machine for soldering printed circuit boards - where hot air streams are used to blow surplus flux off conveyor belts and clamps carrying boards

The belts are fitted with clamps employed to carry the boards over a flux wave and then past a heater to a solder tank. The soldered boards are removed and the belts next travel along a return path to the inlet end of the machine, where unsoldered boards are placed on the belts. On the return path the belts pass through radiant heaters, which melt the surplus flux deposited on the belts, and the molten flux is removed by compressed air streams. The solder removed in collected in a vessel below the transport system.
