The device may be fitted on every type of water closet, witt only one variously controllable outflow valve. It provides economy in water use on a flushing cistern as in 2915581. Ejection of water is allowed to take place by operating of knobs, and opening and closing of an outflow valve for variously set max. and min. volumes of water. Discharge is continuously adjustable, as required. There can be a bottom float providing large volume discharge, and interchangeable top float for various smaller discharges.
