Sports fishing rod with sensors - can display line length, water temp. and depth, fish length and weight and when fish bites

The sports fishing rod consisting of a rod, reel and line supplies the angler with essential information, e.g. water temp. and depth, length and wt. of fish etc., without requiring him to use additional special equipment. The rod carries several measurement devices, at least one of which has a digital display mounted on the rod. A wt. measurement device has a movable measurement transducer connected to the line by a coupling device. A device measuring the length of line unrolled from the reel has a measurement roller driven by the line. A temp. measurement sensor is mounted on the float so as to measure the water temp. The float also carries a sensor detecting when a fish bites.
