The plastics box consists of a deep-drawn base and cover (4, 2), and a connecting rear section (3). The base and cover may be swivelled relative to each other over the rear section so that the box, when closed, has the shape of a book. The box interior has deep drawn recesses (9), to accommodate the appliance parts. The recesses are in the base, and are shaped according to the appliance. The recesses and the cover have deep drawn raised section (10) or lamellae (5), which are elastic, in order to take up external pressure. The book-shaped box corresponds in size to an A4 sheet size.
