Blowing shaft turbulence-free blowing channels - for synthetic polymer spinning have controlled heating and cooling of flow

Parent patent described a spinning machine for fibres from synthetic polymers, e.g. nylon, polyester, polypropylene, with nozzles followed by a blowing shaft and oilers for the yarn. The blowing channels determining the air speed profile have on their feed side, a honeycomb rectifier or similar, and the feed channels have flaps so that the flow of air available can be distributed as required. In this addn., in one or more of the blowing channels cooling and/or heating devices which can be regulated, are installed. For pref. these are located in the zone on the feed side honeycomb rectifier. For pref. a number of heating or cooling devices may be installed in one or more of the blowing channels distributed across the cross-section. Used to spin synthetic threads without generating air turbulence, so that there is no oscillation and the thickness of the threads remains constant. In addn. a very highly accurate temp. profile is maintained over the length of the threads. Since variations in the range of one or two degrees Celsius can be critical, a means of further improving the quality of the prod. is provided.
