Mobile bridge maintenance work appliance - has swivelling boom with pulleys, between sliding carriage and counterweight

A series of cable drums, and winches for running cables and traction cables, are provided for movement of parties of maintenance workers on bridges. Above the drums a boom, with cable-guiding rollers, is mounted to swivel on a ring mounting. On one side of it a motor-driven sliding carriage bears deflecting rollers with cables led from them to a load-accommodating unit. On the other side there is a counterweight. There is pref. a length ratio, relative to the ring, of two to one between carriage and counterweight sides. This can be used on high parts of any type of bridges, pylons and cables, for easy travel on lower areas.
