The transport lorry is for pref. concrete sections. It has two angled support arms pivoted at the rear of the load to swing into a position where each arm is set over the load in a straddling position. The arms are located on the lorry on swivel joints and swing the load over the tailgate as in a skip vehicle. The angled supports do not increase the width of the vehicle and load in the transport position. They are mounted on a transverse strut running under the lorry with lateral adjustment. During load transfer the vehicle is braced on the ground with extending struts.
