A suction duct, for lowering into a sewer being cleaned, opens out into a container on a vehicle, which also has a tank loadable from this to hold pre-cleaned service water conveyable to the lowerable cleaning pipe by means of a high-pressure pump preceded by a device with low-pressure pump for after cleaning, as in 2824432. The after-cleaning device has a sloping-lamella settler connected to a slurry container via a bottom dirt outlet. This has a top down-duct for pre-cleaned water from the tank, and an attached rising duct holding a set of lamellae, with its top end forming an outlet chamber, with overflow duct. This provides robust operation, with constant after-cleaning and enhanced pump durability.
