Continuous tea leaves rolling machine - has roller outlet end surrounding axially movable pressure cap

A machine compresses withered tea leaves to produce black tea. The machine has a rotary or oscillatory roller supported within a stationary or reciprocatory barrel. Leaves enter the barrel at one end and are squeezed out of the other end around an annular pressure cap. The cap. is axially located around the roller to determine pressure of the leaves by a sleeve with fingers. The sleeve axial position is varied by rotation on a threaded end plate. The end plate is axially biassed by a spring whose force is varied.
