Hand-held hair dryer with detachable brush - fits into palm with strap across back of hand and has hemispherical housing

The hair dryer housing (1) contains an electric motor (5), a blower fan (6) and an electric heating element (7) and it is formed so that it can fit into the hand. A brush can be fitted over the air outlet of the hair dryer and the housing (1) has a strap (9) which fits across the back of the hand, so that it can be used in the manner of a massage brush. Pref. the housing (1) is approximately hemispherical, with the electric motor (5) arranged coaxially. The air is drawn in through radial openings (3) around the peripheral sides of the housing (1) and deflected inwards and upwards, then downwards and outwards via the heating element (7) and the fan (6) e.g. for simultaneously cooling the motor (5).
