The oven constructed in the so called cannon fashion, has a hot gas motor flanged to the oven flue and the hot side of the displacement housing extending into the hot space of the flue. The displacement piston, return spring and membrane, acting as the main piston, to which the air cooler, conducting away the waste heat, is coupled mechanically and thermally, form the working motor-like part of the system which is based on the stirling oscillating piston principle. An alternating voltage is therefore induced in the stationary stator, by the linear rotor of the generator, which is coupled to the membrane. If the heat in the oven becomes too high, a sensor control a diverter flap.
