The display device comprises carriers mounted for rotation about parallel axes, each carrier carrying a number of display slats (a, c, e) which are also rotatable about respective axes which are all parallel to the carrier rotation axes. The arrangement of the carriers is such that each slat on each carrier is capable of forming with one slat on each of the other carriers a continuous display surface. The slats carry different displays on their faces (A-F). The slats are rotatable about axes (j-l) equi-angularly spaced about the axis of rotation (g) of the carrier on which they are mounted.
