Highly elegant outer garment for ladies - from few pieces with little sewing accommodating wide range of sizes

The lower section of an outer garment having the form of trousers or a skirt for a lady, has a central section extending as an equilateral triangle, beyond the waist into the abdominal zone. The whole of the upper section which falls from the shoulders is comprised by a single circular or oval piece of fabric. This has a roughly central opening for the neck from which a cutout segment extends to the periphery. The edges of the segment are gathered and are sewn to the sides of the triangular flap on the lower section. The garment is highly elegant, cheap to produce from a few pieces and only a few sizes are required to fit a large number of figures.
