In a fire-protection door having sheet steel front-and back panels enclosing fireproof heat-insulating material, the front panel and the back panel consist of adjacent modules, having, as cross-section, a wide U-profile with additional side-pieces, placed in the same direction, at the ends of its 2 U side-pieces. The space between the front panel and the back panel is filled completely with a casting compsn. of light concrete. Pref. casting compsn. is a perlite light concrete having bulk density lower than 0.4 Mp/cu.m., consisting of perlite and of a cement/polyurethane mixt. contg. max. 8 wt.% polyurethane as binder.
