The windscreen with ducted washer jets has the ducts (3) formed inside the inner layer (7) of the laminated structure. The ducts lead from one edge of the windscreen to outlets (4) spaced over the front. The ducts provide a supply of washer fluid directly under the wiper blades and require no high pressure pumps to direct jets from the bonnet fittings to the windscreen. The ducts are prevented from freezing by the windscreen heater system.
