Antidazzle spectacles for car driver - have areas below normal horizontal line of vision obscured by filters effective by lifting head

The arrangement is intended for preventing dazzle of a car driver by the lights of oncoming traffic. The normal horizontal line of vision is defined as the line extending from eye level to a point 1m above the road surface at a distance of 100m. A pair of spectacles has the lens areas below the level of this line formed by a light-attenuating medium such as a polarising filter or dark transparent disc. In the event of dazzle, the driver lifts his head whilst maintaining horizontal vision.
