Contraceptive device for insertion in vaginal dome - has second portion attached to first and shutting cervical orifice

The contraceptive device is for insertion in the vaginal dome, having a first portion (122) with opposite anterior (144) and posterior (127) parts. It has also side parts which bear removably and elastically against the sides of the vaginal dome. A second portion (124) is connected to the posterior part of the first, so that on introduction into the dome with it between the first one and the neck of the uterus and the side parts against the dome sides, it can be positioned so as to shut the cervical orifice. The first and second portions are disc-shaped, the second one being smaller and preferably of spongy material so as to receive a lubricant.
