Circular saw blade arrangement - has two vibration-damping inserts of equal thickness to blade in openings between blade centre and periphery

The arrangement is intended for damping the noise generated by a circular saw blade (10)having a main body (11) with central bore (12) and cutting teeth (13) at the periphery. The body has vibration-damping inserts (15). At least two equal inserts (15) are arranged between the bore and the periphery and extend over part of the circumference whilst having approximately the same thickness as the body. The inserts may be diametrically arranged in pairs such that the blade remains balanced. They may be circular or oblong in shape. The insert may be secured by plastics filling a gap between its periphery and the opening in which it is inserted.
