Periscope synchronism verifier for e.g. armoured vehicle gun - uses mechanically and electrically perturbation factors produced in angle transmitter

The system for verifying the synchronism of the line of sight of a periscope with elements to be aligned on objectives, e.g. a gun on an armoured vehicle, comprises producing the image of an optical verification mark in the eyepiece of the periscope. The mark is projected by the periscope and is reflected by a mirror fixed on the gun. A reflection image corresp. to the verification mark is produced in the eyepiece. The reflection image is made coincident vertically and laterally with the control mark of the eyepiece by adjustment of the mirror in the zero position of the gun and of the line of sight of the periscope. The gun is then brought into the elevation zone and the deviation of the reflection image from the control mark is measured vertically and laterally.
