The hydroski is designed to permit walking on water. The hydroski keeps the water walker above the water by its own buoyancy and it is made to exert great resistance in the water towards the rear which makes it possible to push forward with the other hydroski which has little water resistance in the forward direction. The shape of the hydroski makes it impossible for one ski to undercut the other and also allows any water running over the top of the ski to run down its sides. Along the middle of the ski upper side there is a device to insert the skier's foot fitted with holding devices for the shoe.
