Roller blinds for windows which are made of plastics foil often collect dust and insects which are rolled up when the blinds are raised and can deform or damage the foil. This can be overcome by arranging two brushes, one on each side of the foil. One can be arranged on the window side above the roller and the outer on the other side just below it. The brush can be replaced by a resilient strip and is loaded by a spring or a weight.
