The conveyor system is used for mining operations. A connecting bridge, with a telescoping conveyor belt, is supported on a travelling pickup appliance, and via a support device, on a support vehicle. It feeds a separate conveyor system and includes a protruding boom which has an end movable across the separate system. The support device (4) fitted on the support vehicle (5), for the bridge (3), is located on the open end of the boom (6). It may be rotatable in relation to the boom, at least once about its vertical axis. The boom can be of parallelogram shape, and fitted with variable-length arms, while the support device has a distributor. Material being conveyed can be delivered onto a distributor belt allotted to both conveyor devices.
