Flaps on the door case and the leaf are rotatably linked by a spring socket inserted through three tubes. The top and bottom tubes are joined to the case flaps and the middle one is joined to the leaf flap, while the socket has a top clamping head with collar on the top tube, in a spring hinge strip for a fire-protection door. A cylindrical plastics ring (7) is rotatably housed in a cylindrical surface (13) in the clamping head, and axially held by the collar (16) and by flanging in the socket. Detachable friction connection is maintained between the ring and top tube (6a).
