Gas regulator for gas-fired burner - has auxiliary membrane drive operated by pressure regulator controlling air feed

The gas regulator has a servo pressure regulator providing the control pressure for the main gas valve with a secondary spring-loaded membrane drive coupled to the control chamber. The drive rod of the membrane drive is coupled to a setting element for the air feed to the burner. The spring loading for the membrane drive is pref. adjustable. Pref. the gas feed is fed via a throttle to the pressure regulator with an intermediate magnetic valve coupled to a switch, operated by the setting element for the air feed, so that the gas feed is rapidly shut-off when the regulator is turned off for gas economy etc.
