The pulverisation plant has the amount delivered matched to the amount fed to a utilisation point by controlling the delivered particle size. This can be effected by adjusting the separation values for the sifting stage of the pulverisation plant. Pref. the adjustment of the delivered amount is effected by controlling the delivered particle size within a specific range, with a further control brought into operation outside this range. The further control may regulate the gas flow rate of the gas circulation through the pulverisation plant and may be brought into operation when the required regulation exceeds plus or minus 10 per cent of the normal delivery.
