摘要
The controller enables the transmission simultaneously of two signals to separate servo motors to permit the desired symmetry. The single controller (10) feeds a voltage follower (12) acting as a buffer amplifier. The amplifier output divides into two channels which pass to the input terminals of an electronic switch (16). One channel passes directly to the switch, the other via an attenuator (14). The output of a detector (15) connected to the direct channel controls the position of the electronic switch. Depending upon the position of the controller (10), and hence on the output polarity of the voltage follower (12), the attenuated channel is connected to one or other of the switch outputs (17,18) and the unattenuated channel to the opposite output (18,17). The switch outputs go to the transmitter. The effect of one channel with respect to the other can readily be adjusted by trimming the attenuator (14) to take account of the handling characteristics of the aeroplane. A typical application of the controller is to setting aileron position in a model aeroplane. When turning and banking the deflection of the ailerons may with advantage not necessarily be the same on each wing.
