Superimposable spool cores for simultaneous run off when twining - using strands with ends forming resilient snap in fit with positive location

Spool cores can be fitted on top of another and are intended for simultaneously running off of strands when these are twined together or similar operations. The respective ends are arranged so that they form a snap-in fit with positive location relative to one another. The snap-in fit may be achieved by a toroidal resilient ring arranged between the inside of the end of one core and an annular seating groove in the outside of the other end of the second core and/or by mutually engaging projections and recesses.
