The graph paper design for automatic evaluation for recording devices is applicable to vehicle journey recording. It enables automatic evaluation without requiring characteristics or preparation and is more economical to use in terms of time and effort than conventional arrangements. The evaluation speed is no longer dependent on manual inputs and a clear relation between graph and additional data is achieved. The input of auxiliary data is separated from the evaluation of the graph. The graph (1) carries a code (5) partic. to each graph card in radial or concentric positions. A hole or line marking may also be provided singly or multiply in coded form. The colours of the card, code, and background paper are chosen according to the spectral sensitivity of the spectronic transducer in the evaluation device.
