SLOT ARRAY ANTENNA WITH AMPLITUDE TAPERACROSS A SMALL CIRCULAR APERTUREAbstract of the DisclosureA small slot array antenna with a circular aperture andlinear polarization is shown to be made up of a plurality ofslotted waveguides having different lengths and differentwidths. The slots in the waveguides are positioned to optimizeamplitude taper in any plane passing through the center of thearray normal to the surface thereof and to maximize the numberof such slots.
