The tractor attachment for handling felled trees comprises a boat-shaped sledge (15) whose leading end is attached free of rotation with an arm (8) forming a pull rod (5) extension which is rotatable about an axis (20). The pull rod is attached at one end to the tractor (1) and can be swivelled vertically and horizontally relative to the tractor. The arm (8) and with it the sledge is selectively rotatable relative to the pull rod by a hydraulic cylinder (11) in a sleeve with a guide slot (9) for a pin (10). The wood gripping tool (16) is mounted within towards the free end of the sledge.
