The automatic equipment is designed for testing preselections in an automatic telephone exchange containing relays of a specified type. the equipment comprises a circuit with a choice of selectors, a choice of level, a circuit to test the availability, an initiating circuit for the preselector, a control unit, a number of detector, an end-of-signal operator, a cycle counter, a level memory unit, a keyboard and a selector memory. There is also a priority selection circuit, a coupling resistance detector, an external time sequencing circuit, a selector flag circuit and an initialising unit.
