A container dispenses pills or tablets one at a time. Two channels in the container connect to the dispensing opening. One channel is sized to take the pills and sums across the container at tight angles to the opening. The other is in line with the opening. A sliding van moves under the influence of gravity along the second channel. The construction is simple and reliable and the pills are dispersed by tipping the container.
