The deflection voltage generator circuit provides voltages controlling the production of characters on a CRT screen. The circuit includes a linearly variable voltage generator (1) whose output is connected to a voltage divider (2). Eight outputs of the divider may be used to display eight points needed to display a character. To each of the outputs a trapezoidal voltage signal shaping circuit (4) is connected. The outputs of the shaping circuits are connected to an adder (6) whose outputs are connected to the deflection plates of the CRT (7). The adder includes transformers with two secondary windings, one of which provides vertical deflection signals, while the other provides horizontal deflection signals.
