Prefabricated house building system - uses prefabricated service modules e.g. kitchen or bathrooms supporting roof slabs over other living areas

The industrialised building may be used to construct habitable units. It utilises factory prefabrication of parallelepiped service blocks, e.g. bathrooms or kitchens, in part or in whole. These are used to support precast slabs spanning other living areas. The service blocks and slabs are conveyed to the site and erected on prepared foundations. Fascia panels and partition wall panels may also be prefabricated, having end tenons for handling and support purposes. Service blocks may have finished wall faces, e.g. tiled or plastered; may incorporate service cables or pipes for water, gas, electricity and seweage etc; and may be furnished with sanitary and/or kitchen appliances and fittings.
