The blind has two telescopic transverses (3,5) each made of two identical size angle irons held together but allowed to slide, overlapping, by stirrups (8). The traverses are joined by compass arms (4,6) hinged together at (7) and the top of (6) is twisted to join one of the wings of the moving traverse (5). The fixed part of the frame (1) is screwed into the window opening, a cover is suspended across the traverses and the moving frame (2) is operated by a cable guided by pulleys and wire guides and passing through holes made in the cover.
