The hut has a semi-octagon shaped framework with two roof units (5), two wall units (4) and two floor units (3), the roof and wall units having the same length and width, and the frame being closed by gable end walls housing door and window. Wall and roof units are insulated sandwich boards, the floor is a timber decking sitting on longitudinal and transverse joists, and the connection between units is by hinges (10) and shaped metal plates (11). Increased stability is given to the hut by passing steel cables over it and by attaching these cables to spikes (27) driven firmly into the ground.
