Fluxing metal parts to be brazed - by heating or wetting parts and dipping in fluidised bed of flux powder

Metal parts are fluxed by pretreating the regions of the parts to be brazed by heating or coating with a continuous film of water or mineral or organic glue and then dipping the regions in a fluidised bed of flux powder. By avoiding use of flux suspensions contg. liquid vehicles, the fluxing process is easily automated.
