摘要
The two piece bolted housing strap makes the joists between two or more intersecting co-planar beams (C) of a timber roof truss, and the pieces (A1,A2) may be of folded and drilled steel sheet. At a butt jointing of rafter (C) ends to a ridge beam (P), the pieces have an inverted trapezoidal channel shape in major elevation. Flats (1,10) sit on the top and bottom faces of the beam (P) respectively, the legs (2,3) housing onto the rafter ends using winged (5,6) rectangular channel (2,4) shapes in cross section. Spikes (20) on internal faces locate the beams (C,P) and bolts through superimposed flanges (5,6) secure the joint. Three piece fittings make joints between the rafters and offset braces.
