Safety flange for infant's dummy - is oval in shape with indent on one edge to fit under infant's nose

The infant's dummy comprises an annular bead held in a sleeve which is internally threaded. An externally threaded plug with an axial extension fits into the sleeve. The teat part of the dummy has a circular indent around the open end below the bead and this is retained against a shoulder (7) in the flange (10) by the plug (4). The wide flange (10) around the teat is pref. oval in shape with a concave portion along one edge fitting under the infant's nose. A bead extends around the flange and two or more decorative holes extend through it.
