The excavator comprises a chassis having either wheels and/or endless tracks. A tilting bucket (10) or shovel shaped excavator device is provided on at least one carrier arm (6). A milling fixture (17) is provided on the bucket or shovel shaped excavator device to help in the earth removing process. This fixture comprises a milling roller (18) and a number of chisels (19) each of which is T-shaped.
