Friction chain for V-groove pulleys - has one piece links made of cut and embossed sheet metal

The chain is for friction drive between V-groove pulleys. The bearing surfaces are on either side of the chain on the centre line between two successive hinge pins. The links are each in one piece, and are made from a cut-out and embossed piece of sheet metal. They can have embossed extensions accommodating the hinge pins, and positioned so that the rear ones on one link fit exactly between the front ones on the next. The links are all similar and the pins are cylindrical with a diameter approx. two-thirds of the chain pitch.
