The vending display stand is used to suspend drapes, comprising a portal frame (2,3,2) on a base (1). Tubular square posts (2) have slot holes (5) at regular vertical intervals, for the location of a rail (6) at alternative heights. The rail is of a square section with vertical bore holes at regular intervals throughout its length. Each hole locates the fulcrum end of a pivotable horizontal cantilever arm from which a drape is suspended. Arms may be of an 'F' shape in round section bar, with an extended upper arm. The leg (81) of each 'F' shaped arm (8) may slide vertically into a rail hole, its penetration being limited by the lower arm (82).
