Bio-gas generator - for the generation and storage of fuel gases produced by the decomposition of substances of vegetable origin

A bio-gas generator comprises a circular platform (I) on which is fixed a removable hood (II) in flexible material connected to a deformable storage vessel. Pref. (I) has on its circumference a groove to which (II) can be fixed. Pref. (II) comprises two layers of material, contg. an intervening gas or air layer. The installation generates and stores fuel gases produced by the anaerobic decomposition of substances of vegetable origin. It obviates inconveniences of existing installations in that charging and discharging are at ground level making handling easier, the generator is insulated thermally from the exterior and the means of storage can be disposed above the ground in unused places, e.g. under building roofs.
