Electric heating system using direct radiation - has high level heaters angled to direct radiation downwards to centre of heated space

The space heating system uses at least one heater panel arranged around the upper part of the heated space. The heater panels are angled downwards so that the heat radiation is directed towards the central part of the floor of the heated space (3). Each of the heater panels may be coupled to a ventilation conduit (9), allowing the air to be fed to the area at the back of the panel defined by a moulded plastics casing in which it is held. The air is heated during circulation at the back of the panel before being supplied to the heated space (3). The casing has an internal heat deflector and diffuser placed between the air input duct and the heating panel.
