The sail board is made from a plane surface which floats horizontally and is mounted below the float by straps or clamps. The flat shape of the float may have a number of profiles to increase the speed to a required value. The shape may be varied according to the weight of the user, or according to the wind strength. The float may also offer increased stability over the more conventional float design.
