PURPOSE:To observe the same point twice in one sweep to improve the quality of data, by acquiring data on both ways of going and returning of the antenna beam sweep in case of data acquisition of remote sensing. CONSTITUTION:Electromagnetic waves received in a receiving antenna part 1 whose rotation is controlled by an antenna driving circuit part 2 are subjected to frequency conversion and low noise amplification in an RF/IF circuit part 3. Next, they are inputted to a detecting part 4, and the RF signal is converted to a DC voltage and is integrated for an observation time. Further, they are inputted to a signal processing part 5 and are sent to the ground after AD conversion. Though data is acquired only once in the antenna beam sweep in the conventional method, data is acquired twice in oblique-line parts 6 in this method. Therefore, the quantity of information twice as much as the conventional quantity is acquired, and the quality of picture data is improved.
