摘要

PURPOSE:To give intercrystalline corrosion resistance to weld zone by performing long current supply of the specific times the necessary weld time in creating the molten part of a sufficient size at the time of spot welding. CONSTITUTION:In the cace of spot welding of ferrite stainless steel, the long current supply of more than twice the necssary weld time in creating the weld zone of a sufficient size is accomplished. With the weld time of twise or less, the texture change of the weld zone does not take place sufficiently and intercrystalline corrosion resistance is not sufficient and therefore the lower limit is made twice. Hence, the intercrystalline corrosion of the spot weld zone may be prevented without large changes such as sophistication of materials and employment of in-furnace heating.
