MASKING AGENT FOR TREATING SUBSTANCE HAVING UNEVEN PART OR HOLE

PURPOSE:To allow a mixture of a resin component having rubberlike elasticity and solidifying in the presence of heat with a plasticizer to show a satisfactory filling action on an uneven part or a hole and a satisfactory masking action by adding a solvent to the mixture to provide fluidity. CONSTITUTION:A resin component having rubberlike elasticity and solidifying in the presence of heat, e.g., an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, chlorinated polypropylene or PVC is mixed with a plasticizer such as DOP, DBP, DOA or DOS. By adding ketones such as cyclohexanone, aromatic hydrocarbon such as xylene or aliphatic hydrocarbon such as kerosene as a solvent to the mixture, fluidity is provided to the mixture. The resulting masking agent is applied to a substance to be treated. The suitability to printing and application is decided by regulating the blending ratio among the solvent, the resin component and the plasticizer.
